OCOBAR is a music-collective based in The Netherlands.
It consists of Cok van Vuuren , Rob Wijtman and his brother Bart Wijtman.
In their studio in Rotterdam they create contemporary music.

OCOBAR's music is a remarkable combination of divers, film-based compositions,
especially suitable for use in documentaries, commercials, TV shows and theatrical productions.

OCOBAR also produces tailor-made soundtracks for anything and anybody in need of music.

The three musicians have, besides their work in OCOBAR, an extensive musical history:

COK VAN VUUREN
A renowned guitar player, well known for his work with Dutch singers/performers such as Fay Lovsky, Freek
de Jonge, Mathilde Santing as well as being a member of The Beau Hunks. He is active as a studio session
player and contributed to various stageproductions, such as Pecos Bill (Orkater) and Hondje (RO Theatre).

ROB WIJTMAN
Played in many theatre productions, among others: the musical Cats (Amsterdam), Zusje Harmonica (Paleis,
Antwerp),Nico (Scapino ballet, Rotterdam). For five years he was a regular member of Fay Lovsky's band. Rob
is a much in demand session drummer/percussionist who can be heard on many studio productions.

BART WIJTMAN
As an assignment for the Dutch TV Network he wrote and produced the music for the short movie “Harbour
Blues” by filmmaker Marcel Visbeen. He also wrote and produced all music for Zaai, a popular Dutch children
VPRO TV show. He was a member of the band Hasjee Royaal whitch recently split up after 17 years of playing
and his bass playing can be heard on many studio productions. In his own studio (studio Boemtak) he produces
and records many productions.
